If your researching the Demeritts and want more detailed branches
I would recommend using the Descendants of * Eli Demeritt
For a staring point I would use the Surname List or Index of Names under Eli Demeritt to look up your particular interest.

I am currently researching Isaac T Demeritt (b. 1811-1886) married Tamson H Montgomery (b. 1814-1898) They came from the Barrington/Straford New Hampshire area. - click here for more detailed notes.
